Dean's Team
Mission
- To develop emerging leaders for the service of the health professions in academic, social, political and clinical practice arenas.
- To further the mission of the MU School of Health Professions and support the best interests of the School through volunteer service, legislative advocacy, peer-to- peer educational programs, and cooperative efforts with University, alumni and peer organizations.

The Leadership Development Program
Prerequisite: Concurrent Membership in the MIZZOU Alumni Association True Tigers
- Annual Dean’s Team Leadership Conference in September—required
- Small Group Dialogues with the Dean – one per semester required
- Annual participation in Mizzou Legislative Day
- Three hours of volunteer service each semester
- Participation in annual service learning project
- One film night per semester
- Required attendance at two SHP or SHP Alumni Organization-sponsored events per semester
- One presentation to a civic, high school, alumni or student group each year
- Dean’s Team Monthly Meetings (5 of 8 required)
- Seniors will self-nominate for Mizzou 39
