Alumni Deans Team

The School of Health Professions Dean’s Team is made up of a select group of SHP and pre-SHP students.  These students have applied and  been accepted for participation in a leadership development program under the guidance of Dr. Rich Oliver, Dean of the SHP.  This program is co-sponsored by the SHP Alumni Organization. Student members are required to be concurrent members of the Mizzou Alumni Association's True Tigers. 

Interested students need not be current True Tigers in order to apply; however, True Tigers membership is required if the student is accepted and chooses to join the Dean's Team.  The cost of annual True Tiger membership is $25.  

The purpose of the group is to help students develop leadership skills for the service of the health professions in academic, social, political and clinical practice arenas.  Students members must commit to participation in approximately 10 programs during the academic year including the annual Dean’s Team and Alumni Mentor Leadership Conference. Students may renew their membership over multiple years with the successful completion of each prior year.
