If the science courses are equivalent to the MU course, had a lab, and you received a grade of C (2.0) or better, they will not need to be retaken. If you are just beginning your Radiography program, you still may have time to select the correct coursework that will transfer to MU. This might decrease the number of credits you would have to re-take. Contact an academic advisor in the School of Health Professions to find equivalent courses at your school. Phone: 573-882-8011 or email: umcshpadvising@missouri.edu
The BHS degree from MU requires 120 credit hours. It is hard to predict how many each individual student will need to take because not all applicants will meet the state of Missouri general education requirements or the Radiography program science pre requisites. The program will perform a preliminary audit, at your request, and this will give a more accurate picture of what will transfer to MU. Send copies of any coursework to the Program Director.
30 of the last 36 credit hours must be from MU. These can either be on campus, online through MU Direct, or through correspondence with the Center for Distance Instruction. These 30 hours will include the required Radiography professional courses for the BHS and any other courses taken through MU to meet the degree requirements.
Only college credit from accredited colleges and universities will transfer to MU. A maximum of 64 credit hours can be transferred from a 2-year Community College.

After the application has been reviewed and the Radiography courses audited, the Program Director and Director of Clinical, along with input from the student, determine if any clinical experience might be needed. The majority of students do not need any additional clinical experience. Sometimes students request clinical experiences to brush up on rusty skills. Any clinical experience will be set up in the student's community if at all possible.
That will depend upon how many of the college credits you already have that will transfer in to MU to meet the General Education requirements and the Radiography program science pre-requisites. A typical online student takes 1 or 2 courses each semester, or 3-8 credit hours.
