Programs accredited by the CAA offer their graduates the assurance that the academic and clinical experience obtained through their programs of study meets nationally established standards. In addition, completion of the master's degree offered by a program accredited by the CAA guarantees that the graduate will have met the coursework and clinical practicum requirements for the ASHA certificate of clinical competence (CCC)
