Occupational therapists provide skilled treatment that helps individuals achieve independence in all facets of their lives; occupational therapy is also one of the fastest growing health professions. Admissions

The Occupational Therapy department accepts 30 students each year. Admission questions can be answered through the following resources:

Programs

All students begin coursework in summer with undergraduate studies that culminate with a Bachelor of Occupational Science (BOS). The semester after bachelor's degrees are awarded, the students begin graduate courses and once completed are awarded a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree.

Careers in Occupational Therapy

Graduates of the Department of Occupational Therapy at MU have 100% job placement during or after graduation. They are employed as clinicians, administrators, academicians, and consultants. Occupational therapists can work in a variety of settings, individually or in a team setting.
