Physical Therapy Department Mission and Goals
Our mission is to prepare exemplary physical therapists for clinical and academic careers, to excel in scholarly activity, and to serve the profession and community at large.
Goal 1: Education
Provide an up-to-date and innovative educational experience to well-qualified students who graduate with th skills and behaviors necessary to excel in clinical, educational, and scholarly endeavors.
Goal 2: Research
Develop, disseminate and apply new knowledge in the fields of physical therapy and rehabilitation through translational research and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Goal 3: Service
Engage in service that benefits the profession and contributes to quality of life in the communities we serve.
