The Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Missouri School of Health Professions is proud to announce a campaign to endow the Marilyn K. Sanford Hargrove, PT, PhD, Scholarship in Physical Therapy. This honored scholarship will recognize Dr. Hargrove's contribution to education and service in the field of Physical Therapy.
It is fitting that a scholarship be created to honor Dr. Hargrove's commitment to the University of Missouri School of Health Professions. As a student, educator, and practitioner, her career exemplifies the highest ideals of scholarship, leadership and service. The University of Missouri School of Health Professions invites private support from department alumni, students, colleagues, and friends to establish this honored scholarship. It is a tangible way for those who have benefited from Dr. Hargrove's professional excellence to express appreciation.
A member of the first graduating class of the University of Missouri's Physical Therapy program in 1965, Dr. Hargrove has remained an integral part of the program since returning to campus in 1971. Chairperson of the department since 1993, Dr. Hargrove has been instrumental in the development and implementation of many new facets of the Physical Therapy program. The creation of this scholarship honors Dr. Hargrove's dedication to the education and practice of physical therapy and ensures a future to a new generation of educators and practitioners.

Christopher Griffith, PT Scholarship endowment fund is a permanent, or perpetual, fund for which the University of Missouri System Board of Curators serves as trustee.
