The participant will be able to:
1. Define the clinical decision-making model as outlined in the Guide to PT Practice.
2. Differentiate between screening tools and assessment.
3. Understand the role of standardized assessment in examination
4. Identify the process for critiquing an examination tool.
5. Apply the concepts of examination to a case screening.
6. Discuss current examination information presented to PT professional students.

Content:

This presentation uses case examples to address pediatric examination of individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities and the selection and interpretation of standardized measures commonly used with this population.
