"The strides our daughter has made in both her physical skills and her self-confidence are quite striking."

Department of Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science
Occupational therapy uses purposeful activities, including the tasks of daily life, to promote the greatest possible functional independence for people who are dealing with the effects of disease, injury, birth defects, disability or developmental delay.
Occupational therapy can help infants and children achieve — to the greatest extent possible — the self-help, play and learning skills appropriate for their age or developmental ability.
The Department of Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science Pediatric Clinic is a student-administered service provided under the direct supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. The clinic is designed to provide consultation, evaluation, individual treatment and/or specialized group treatment.
The Department of Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science Pediatric Clinic is located in Lewis Hall on the University of Missouri campus.
