Advising at SHP
The Student Affairs Office in SHP is typically open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Students can generally be seen by an advisor if they walk in, but we do recommend appointments for advising sessions. For information about specific degree programs, refer to the following advisors in SHP. To schedule an appointment with an advisor, call 573-882-8011:
- Jill Diener: pre-Physical Therapy (juniors and seniors); pre-Occupational Therapy; pre-Communication Science and Disorders; Health Sciences (juniors and seniors)
- Cason Jones: Undeclared; pre-Clinical Laboratory Science; pre-Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound; pre-Nuclear Medicine; pre-Radiography; pre-Respiratory Therapy
- Jalana Robinson: pre-Physical Therapy (freshmen and sophomores); Health Sciences (freshmen and sophomores)
Pre-Pharmacy students should meet with Dr. Kathy Snella, Assistant Dean of UMKC Pharmacy Program at MU, 573-882-1590 or the UMKC Student Services Office: 816-235-2400, pharmacy@umkc.edu
Advising for the UMKC School of Pharmacy Columbia Satellite Program will be available on the following dates:
- August 28th
- September 11th
- October 23rd
- November 13th
- December 4th
