Physical Therapy

Physical therapists help restore motion and function ability, relieve pain and prevent or limit disability. Physical therapists are essential to the rehabilitation of people with head or spinal injuries, birth defects, arthritis and neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. They also develop fitness programs for healthier and more active lifestyles.

Physical therapists are employed in hospitals, clinics, schools and private practice and care for people of all ages.

Consider this program if you:

  • Are interested in health and science
  • Have excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Desire to help people achieve overall physical fitness

This is a three-year doctor of physical therapy program. Students must have a bachelor's degree or at least 90 hours of college credit to enter the program.
