Radiography (Radiological Science)

Radiographers provide patient services using a variety of imaging machines. In addition to conventional X-ray procedures, radiographers also work with computerized tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Career opportunities include staff radiographer, supervisor, chief radiographer, radiology manager, educator and in the specialty areas of CT, ultrasound, MRI, mammography, quality assurance and special procedures.

Consider this program if you:

  • Enjoy working with delicate and complicated equipment
  • Are able to care for people under stress

This is a four-year degree with two years of prerequisites and two years in the professional program.
