SHarP SCHOLARS AWARD

Award Amount: $1000, freshman year (non-renewable)

Selection criteria:

  • Students must be accepted as SHarP Scholars to a SHP program by the end of their first semester, freshman year at MU
  • Students who apply and are accepted as SHarP Scholars are automatically awarded a $1000 scholarship.
  • Application Deadline: None

Freshman Talent Scholarship (4 total)

Award amount: $1750 per year (fall and spring)

Selection criteria:

  • Be a 1st year college freshman
  • Ranked in the top 25% in senior high school class
  • Submit a completed scholarship application with essay; and
  • Enroll in the School of Health Professions for both the fall and winter semesters of the freshman year
  • Must maintain a 2.5 GPA each semester during the scholarship period
  • Application Deadline: December 1
