Study abroad can be an excellent way for a student to enhance their undergraduate education. Studying abroad requires planning ahead, so please notify your advisor as soon as possible if you are interested in this opportunity. While some SHP programs allow for students to participate in clinical outplacements abroad, not all programs do. Therefore, many students who study abroad do so prior to beginning the professional phase of their program. Fitting in a semester abroad while completing pre-requisites for your desired program will require adjustments to your class schedule and your advisor can help you to choose courses each semester to accommodate your study abroad plans. The MU International Center has information about study abroad programs for Mizzou students.
